A radial gate,also called a tainter gate, is a gate with cylindrical water retaining surface that is partially curved. The supporting hinge of the supporting arm is located at the center of the circle, and the gate rotates around the supporting hinge when opening and closing. The arc gate is composed of three parts: the revolving door body, the buried components and the opening and closing equipment. The arc gate does not have a gate slot, has a small opening and closing force, and has good hydraulic conditions. It is widely used as a working gate on various types of waterways.
